Who We Are

Our Mission

We exist to meet the physical needs (food, clothing, toiletries) of local children in crisis and to inspire others to serve alongside us. No child should go to bed hungry.

Who We Are

PACK started at our founder’s kitchen table as a project to teach her three young sons about helping others. Last year, we hosted more than 18,000 volunteers who came to support our mission. We are a 100% volunteer-based organization, which allows us to direct most of our funding to buying and distributing food and helping as many children as possible.

What We Do

The PACK Boutique currently serves 90 children in foster care or Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) care. The children shop for clothing, shoes, and accessories every three months until they reach 18 years of age.

The PACK Cottage provides more than 100 emergency duffel bags filled with new clothing, toiletries, and toys to local children in crisis each month. Emergency workers can access duffel bags and food for children 24 hours a day.

Through our PACK Feed program, we pack and deliver 4,600 bags of food each week to children at 40 schools and community centers. The children who receive our bags eat free or reduced-price lunches at school during the week but would suffer from food insecurity on weekends without the assistance of weekend food bags.

One of our smaller programs is our partnership with CURE Childhood Cancer to donate snack bags and toy-filled happy bags to children undergoing medical treatments. Another small program is PACK Angels, a Christmas program that provides gifts to 1,400 children on our feeding list each year.

Who We Help

Our programs benefit local children in crisis or facing financial hardship. Children are referred by school counselors and social workers, CASA, the Georgia Division of Family & Children Services, and the fire and police departments.
