Serving children in crisis around the clock

Children are in crisis right here in our community, 24 hours a day. In 2023 alone, 520 students were registered as homeless in Chatham County, and over 300 children were placed in foster care. Countless others have suffered abuse, human trafficking, house fires, medical events, and housing evictions. When children are in crisis, PACK is here to help!
The PACK Cottages meet the physical needs of over 100 children in crisis each month by providing them with an emergency duffle bag containing new clothing, toiletries, and comfort items. Two small cottages located next to the PACK warehouse provide 24/7 access to social workers, shelter personnel, and emergency responders for duffle bags and food for vulnerable children. PACK provides material items that bring love, hope, and security through our partnerships with local schools, courts, shelters, other non-profits, and emergency response organizations.

The PACK Cottages serve children in crisis 24/7! It is unimaginable that children should have to face homelessness, foster care placement, housefires, and extreme poverty. Over 100 children each month visit the PACK Cottages with social workers and emergency workers to obtain food, air mattresses, and duffel bags containing new clothing, hygiene products, and other essentials. Partner with us to provide hope to children in the most desperate of life situations.
Our goal is to plant the Cottages at strategic locations throughout Savannah and the neighboring areas. With your generous support, we can make this a reality.
